'Game of Thrones' Season 6 update & spoilers: Will Jon Snow return?

The question on whether the character of British actor Kit Harington will return to "Game of Thrones" or not is still very much ongoing even after its death from the last season. This only proves that Jon Snow is a very well-loved character that fans just can't seem to let go of. Now, will he back or not?

The answer to the question remains vague at this point but at least Harington has given GoT fans a hint or two regarding the fate of the leader of the Night's Watch. After several statements about Jon Snow's end in the series, Vanity Fair senses a change of tune in Harington. According to the source, the actor sat in an interview with Belgian magazine "Humo" wherein he revealed that he might not be done with show yet.

A translated version by a reddit user revealed that Harington, 28, told the magazine: "Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I'll probably be in my 30s when it's over."

This could mean that he will probably be in the show for at least another two years. But none of that really confirms his comeback even with his contract to the show.

"The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract," he also said.

For all the fans know, he might just be showing through dreams or flashbacks and not really rising up from the dead. But then again, he might return as a corpse just like Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) and Charles Dance (Tywin), reports Slash Film. Some are certain that he will indeed be back but just don't know the "how" or the "why" part—a mystery that they are willing to wait on finding out.

While many are clamoring for the character to be present in the upcoming sixth season, the interview revealed Harington's mixed feelings about the series. According to him, he felt frustrated because he had to turn down good offers because of GoT. He said that he owes a lot to the show but at the same time, it has "drained" him.

The answer to the question will be shown in "Game of Thrones" when it returns for Season 6 in April 2016.
