After the dramatic season finale of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, there is a lot of anticipation for Season 7 og the hit HBO series. 1. Daenerys + Jon Snow
One of the biggest reveals in the finale was the origin of Jon Snow. From Bran's vision, fans found out that Jon Snow is not actually the bastard of Ned Stark but the love child of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, which makes him a righteous contender to the Iron Throne. The finale also showed Daenerys finally making her way to Westeros after six years of dreaming to get her ancestor's throne back.
Because of these circumstances, many believe that the King of the North and the Mother of Dragons will unite and rule Westeros together.
2. Daenerys + Tyrion
Another power couple could rule the land when Daenerys and Tyrion make their way back to Westeros. Tyrion has been aiding the Mother of Dragons in her pursuit to claim the iron throne. And since his sister Cersei is in power, her death will make way for his righteous claim as a king. Together, he and Daenerys can bring an interesting reign.
3. Daenerys + Yara
As if two possible love matches were not enough, there are speculations that the Mother of Dragons will end up with Yara. The idea of this was sparked when the two met and Yara subtly hit on Daenerys. Westeros might end up with two queens.
4. Sansa Will Be The Queen
Sansa has showed her strength throughout Season 6 after escaping Ramsay Bolton. She displayed the ability and influence to rule over Westeros just as much as Jon Snow. Fans believe that she will claim the iron throne as well.
5. Everyone Will Die
Since the show is known for killing its characters, some fans believe that the series will ultimately kill off everyone. If this is the case, the message would portray is powerful and epic.
What The Showrunners Think
Even though it's still a while until "Game of Thrones" Season 7 returns, the showrunners shared some interesting teasers for the upcoming season. David Benioff explained that Cersei will play a big part in the season to come.
He said, "While Cersei has certainly done a lot of horrible things in her life and she could be a very cruel person, the one thing that was redemptive about her was, she genuinely loved her children. Now they're all gone, and I think that is very interesting for us."
