'Gears of War 4' Update Latest: Game to Feature Two Characters Instead of Four?
Xbox One is expected to debut "Gears of War 4" very soon, and as the game continues its whereabouts in the process of development, speculations about what the game will offer are hot on the heels.
Reports suggest that The Coalition is working to provide fans with just two characters to give the game a start. The news is very brand-new to some players who are used to the four-character scheme that the previous games offered.
On the other hand, the developer's decision could actually mean more excitement for players. This is because with fewer characters to handle, players can be more focused on strengthening their gameplay, especially when they are faced with a huge number of foes. For the most part, a lot of games have proven that fewer leads can be more efficient in situations when the group is eventually outnumbered.
Two of the names that are speculated to be the main characters are JD and Kait. The two are both young soldiers who are entering the battlefield with a heart for victory, even if they lack experience compared to veterans and other fighters who have aged in war.
The franchise has obtained praise from around the world due to the explosive action and cover mechanics that are given to players. It also sports a weapon like no other called the Mark 2 Lancer. While many other shooting games have assault rifles that provide ultimate shooter experience, the Mark 2 Lancer is simply a rifle that also comes with a gasoline-powered chainsaw for the win.
Unfortunately, the game is Xbox One exclusive and those who like to experience all-out action may need to get their own Xbox One consoles or crash into a friend's house who has the console.
On the other hand, it promises not only a well-rounded story about two young soldiers but also a co-op gameplay that goes deep into the personal world of darkness and mystery.
"Gears of War 4" is expected to release sometime in 2016.
