'General Hospital' Spoilers: On Jason's Promise, Patient Six's Survival, and Some Surprising Exits

As one of the longest-running soaps on television, the showrunners of "General Hospital" has several years' worth of experience in creating dramatic and suspenseful plotlines. Spoilers for the week Oct. 16 reveal that Jason (Billy Miller) will make a promise, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will be hearing from Brick (Stephen A. Smith), and Patient Six (Steve Burton) will be fighting to the death. Furthermore, a shocking exit from the soap has been revealed.

According to spoilers, Jason will be making a promise to Sam (Kelly Monaco), who seemingly went through hell and back after she was subjected to a series of truly unfortunate events. He will tell her that he will find out what Franco (Roger Howarth) is hiding so that no one will threaten their one chance at beginning a new and safer life.

Meanwhile, Sonny will be getting a phone call from Brick, and he will be alarmed to find out that he is under surveillance. He will want Carly (Laura Wright) in on the loop, especially if he is going to start investigating.

Patient Six's struggle is also far from over. This week on "General Hospital," he will be fighting to death after he was hunted down by outlaws. After scraping by and surviving the debacle, he will want to phone someone. However, it will prove to be a hard decision for him, and he will decide to just show up at Port Charles to surprise everyone.

Meanwhile, last week featured what might be the last scene of Parker (Ashley Jones) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). They moved to Oregon on "General Hospital," and in real life, it seems that they will be taking a break from the soap to explore their relationship off-camera. Furthermore, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) will not be returning to "General Hospital" anytime soon as he has signed a contract with CBS' "The Bold and The Beautiful."
