GENESIS Celebrates New Link to Coatesville, Pa.

Youth With A Mission’s GENESIS video conference system celebrated another successful link from the GENESIS center in Lausanne, Switzerland, to a new base in Coatesville, Pa., on May 31, 2004. At the end of the first link, YWAM staff member from Fiji, Metui, led worship from Coatesville along with Discipleship Training School staff member from Ghana, Benjie, who joined in from Lausanne.

The GENESIS system in Coatesville was set up with the held of Matt W. from the GENESIS center.

“It was time of celebration unto what God has done to see this major breakthrough,” said the YWAM’s GENESIS team.

Metui had pioneered the Coatesville base in 2002 along with Parla V. of Pennsylvania.

“They have well equiped facility to provide various trainings and healthy environment to the youth of the city,” said the GENESIS team.

Metui is expected to join the 3rd One Voice Event on June 5 from Mexico during his visit to the Leadership Training School. The One Voice Event is an international gathering where mutiple nations will meet via GENESIS and worship under “one voice”. GENESIS bases that have been confirmed to participate as of June 2 include: Kona (USA), Denver (USA), Barbados, Chapala (Mexico), Harpenden (UK), Lausanne (Switzerland), Chatel (Switzerland), J-Bay (S.Africa), Jeju (Korea), and Perth (Australia).
