George Boedecker Arrested for DUI; Crocs Co-Founder Blames Taylor Swift
George Boedecker, a co-founder of Crocs, has been arrested for DUI in a bizarre incident where he blamed country singer Taylor Swift.
Boedecker, 51, was arrested and charged for drunken driving at the weekend when he was found slumped over the wheel of a black Porsche in Boulder, Colorado. When police got him out from the car he was said to be slurring his words and having trouble keeping his balance.
His initial explanation to officers was that he had simply pulled over to take a nap. However, he later changed his story and said that his girlfriend had been driving but had run away after they had a fight.

The entrepreneur, whose other business involvements include Domino's Pizza and Quizno's, was then asked who his girlfriend was. He then proceeded to reply that she was "famous." He asked the officer whether he had ever heard of Taylor Swift.
Swift herself was not in town, but thousands of miles away in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, which is about 2,000 miles away. She has no apparent links to Boedecker.
Swift herself recently announced plans to release her fourth studio album entitled "Red." The release date has been set for October 22, and during a live web chat the singer has indicated that there could be a massive tour on the way to promote the new album.
Speaking about her new album Swift told fans: "They're all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I've experienced in the last two years."
"All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that, in my mind all those emotions are red. There's nothing in between. There's nothing beige about any of those feelings."
