Lucas and Hobson welcomed a daughter named Everest Hobson Lucas last Friday, according to the Huffington Post.

The 69-year-old movie mogul is already a father to three adopted children.

Since Hobson is 44-years-old, the couple likely had no choice but to use a surrogate to welcome their child.

Lucas is not the only celebrity in Hollywood to use surrogacy. Just last week, Jimmy Fallon revealed that he and his wife Nancy welcomed their daughter via surrogate.

Winnie Rose Fallon was born on July 23, but it was not revealed that a surrogate was used until days after her arrival.

"We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody,'" Fallon explained while on the "Today" show. "It'd just be more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody."

Also welcomed through a surrogate was Edward Duke Rancic, the son of Giuliana and Bill Rancic. Ahead of Duke's birth, his mother experienced infertility issues as well as breast cancer.

Furthermore, "Hunger Games" star Elizabeth Banks has been very outspoken about welcoming both of her sons through a gestational carrier.

"This experience has exceeded all expectations, taught us a great deal about generosity and gratitude, and established a relationship that will last a lifetime," wrote the "Seabiscuit" star on her website.

The actress noted her support for friends, family, and the Center for Surrogate Parenting "for helping make all this possible."

"I now turn my attention to managing two boys under two," concluded Banks before adding, "For which I am thankful," and joking about changing diapers.
