George Zimmerman Claims Trayvon Martin Investigation is a 'Witch Hunt'
Self appointed neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman, is reportedly in hiding where he expects to be arrested over the shooting death of unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin, and the widely condemned shooter believes that the investigation is a "witch hunt," according to a new report.
"George thinks the new round of investigations are nothing but a witch hunt. The Sanford Police Department cleared him on any wrongdoing, and the fact that the feds and the state are now involved just shows that the agencies are only responding to the public demands for his arrest," a source close to Zimmerman told RadarOnline.
"George expects to be arrested in connection with Trayvon's death, even though he vehemently maintains that he shot Trayvon in self-defense," the source added.

The report comes just days after the New Black Panther Party issued a $10,000 bounty for the capture of Zimmerman, who approximately 70 percent of Americans believe should be arrested for killing 17-year-old Martin, according to a CNN poll.
"Nearly two-thirds of whites and 86 percent of non-whites say Zimmerman should be arrested … as well as majorities of Republicans, Democrats and independent voters," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland has said.
The Trayvon Martin case made international headlines and continues to spark public outrage since it was revealed that 28-year-old Zimmerman has not been arrested despite shooting Martin, who was completely unarmed while walking to his Sanford, Fla. home on Feb. 26.
Zimmerman, who pursued Martin despite police instructing him not to, has claimed he was attacked by the teenager and was only acting in self defense.
However, others believe that Martin was the victim of a race hate attack after 911 tapes revealed that Zimmerman may have used a racial slur.
"This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about. These [expletives]. They always get away," a heated Zimmerman told 911 dispatchers.
Zimmerman, who reportedly thought the matter would simply blow over, is now said to be living in fear after receiving constant death threats, according to Good Morning America.
"[George] moved, they've disconnected their phone numbers. They're in hiding. They're fearful," a friend of the Zimmerman family, Joe Oliver, told GMA.
