Germany vs Poland in 2016 UEFA Euro Cup [POLL] – World Champions Facing Tough Competitor; Game Time, Prediction, TV Info and Live Stream
Both Teams Have Not Played Extremely Well in Their Past Games in the Tournament
Poland and Germany will face off on Thursday for the group stage of the UEFA Euro 2016 with both Group C teams possibly moving on to the next round of the tournament.
The two teams both stand on equal footing after winning their previous games for Euro 2016. It added that Poland and Germany will surely be fighting it out on Thursday because both want to guarantee a slot in the qualifiers.
Advancing to the 'Knockout Phase'
For Group C, the two countries join Ukraine and Northern Ireland. They need to get the two highest ranking for the group if they want to advance to the so-called "knockout phase." During the group stage, all teams will be given the chance to play against the other three only once.
Germany earlier went against Ukraine and finished with a 2-0 victory while Poland defeated Northern Ireland in a 1-0 standing. However, the victories of the two teams did not reportedly showcase the best in each group. They will hopefully be tested this time as they play against each other.
Strenghts, Weaknesses and Predictions
Analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of both teams, Germany lacks something on its defensive strategy but picks ups when the game progresses while Poland has not done extremely well with their past matches, not only for the tournament.
The defending world champion is hoping to secure a win in this upcoming game, though it is expected that they will also give a chance to their opponent to shine during the match.
On the contrary, Poland is also counting on the entire team to work their magic on the soccer field on Thursday night. They would want to see another Arkadiusz Milik goal to help them win the game versus the powerful Germans. The Polish players also do not seem bothered with the competition since they have already beaten Germany during the qualifying rounds in Warsaw with a 2-0 victory.
However, prediction for the game expects a Germany win as the team will likely maintain their momentum after the win versus Ukraine. Poland was not picked to be the winner because of the goal comparison with their opponent for their opening matches in the Euro Cup.
Thursday's game at the Stade de France in Paris, begins at 9 p.m. Tickets for the live game are sold from $150 to $250. ITV will air a live broadcast of the game while streaming options are also available for fans in other parts of the world.
