Get Your 'Scrooge' On
You have probably heard the saying, "Get your Groove On." It means to get back in the flow of doing what you do best and enjoy it while you're at it. How about this one: "Get your 'Scrooge' On." You remember ol' Ebenezer from "A Christmas Carol"? He was visited by several ghosts who gave him a glimpse of his past, his present, and his future. It was a real wake-up call for a man who was on the wrong road.
Likewise, the Holy Ghost can give you a glimpse of your future so that you will be prepared to stand before Jesus on Judgment Day. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:10) Jesus came to earth 2000 years ago as a lamb. He is coming back as a lion. He came 2000 years ago as a humble servant. He is coming back as the judge and reigning king.

The Best Way to Meet Jesus
You can go meet the judge in your future,
So you’ll meet Him as Savior today;
Else that judge who stands there in your future,
will benefit you in no way.
And if you are standing there naked,
Without a covering for sin;
Then your judge will have no other option,
Than to speak of the trouble you’re in.
He will tell you that He never knew you,
As you stand there and plead for your soul;
But too little too late comes your sorrow,
That will grow as to hell you will go.
And you'll know that it could have been different,
If only you'd come to Him then;
When your future has turned to your present,
And the Savior is judge of all men.
Just like Scrooge in the carol at Christmas,
Who is shown what his deeds truly merit;
This right here is your glimpse to your future,
So that heaven one day you'll inherit.
As you look on the cross of salvation,
Where the man who was God hung to die;
Will you bring him your sin and surrender,
Or persist down a road where you’ll cry?
There’ll be laughter and joy up in heaven,
While the lost will just suffer below;
So it doesn’t make sense to reject Him,
You get to decide where you’ll go.
