'Ghosted' Season 1 Spoilers: Leroy Pursues a Romantic Interest During a Murder Investigation
The upcoming episode of "Ghosted" season 1 will see Max (Adam Scott) and Leroy (Craig Robinson) investigation a string of murders.
The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Succubus," states that Max and Leroy will attempt to find the person (or entity) responsible for several murders. However, Leroy will also have problems of his own. Smitten with a female cop (guest star Megalyn Echikunwoke) while working on-site, Leroy will be encouraged by Max to go for it. Leroy will take his advice though it remains to be seen whether the outcome will be positive for him.
Elsewhere, Captain Lafrey (Ally Walker) will assign Annie (Amber Stevens West) and Barry (Adeel Akhtar) with a more personal task. Lafrey is worried that her daughter (guest star Lauren Lindsey Donzis) has been seeing a boy without her consent. Annie and Barry will be responsible for investigating what Lafrey's daughter is doing.
A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It shows Max and Leroy having fun together at the resort. However, they may be dealing with a strange creature who looks to be from the swamps. The beast is seen at the Bureau Underground's office, attacking one of the employees. She is pulled up from the vents, but Max and Leroy are more concerned with getting her name right.
"Ghosted" follows Max and Leroy, two people on opposite sides of the paranormal believer spectrum, as they look into strange occurrences in Los Angeles, California, as part of an organization called The Bureau Underground.
The show currently holds a 74 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, indicating favorable reviews. Critics and viewers state that Robinson and Scott's on-screen chemistry, while odd, was compelling enough to carry the entire show for a first run. Many agree that although it remains a work in progress, "Ghosted" is something to look forward to.
"Ghosted" season 1 airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on FOX.
