Gia Allemand's Death: Christian 'Bachelor' Star's Last Tweet Taken From Scripture
Gia Allemand died on Wednesday after her life support machines was turned off following an apparent suicide by hanging. Mystery has surrounded the reasons behind her death, and "The Bachelor" star's final, tweet taken from the Bible, left no extra clues as to why the tragedy occurred.
The 29-year-old star was admitted into hospital on Monday where she was in critical condition and on life support. Her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, had found the model after she had reportedly hanged herself in her New Orleans home, reported TMZ.
According to a statement from her family, Allemand was taken off of life support "due to a critical loss of brain and organ function."

Furthermore, the family said that Allemand, who was a Christian, was taken off of life support only after having received the sacrament of last rites.
As further proof of her faith, the model took to Twitter with a Bible excerpt from Proverbs just one day before being admitted into the hospital.
"Proverbs 21: 3 'Doing what is right and fair pleases The Lord more than an offering,'" wrote the reality television star on Sunday, Aug. 11.
Meanwhile, news of Allemand's death came as a huge shock to her fans as well as Hollywood. The model's family revealed that she "passed away peacefully with her mother, boyfriend, and other lifelong friends by her side," according to a statement.
"Loves ones and fans will remember Gia Allemand as a caring woman who loved her family and was well-known for her compassion towards animals and mission to rescue homeless pets," Allemand's family added in the statement.
Initially, the Allemand's publicist described her hospitalization as a "serious emergency medical event," and asked for privacy over the matter.
On Twitter, celebrities and Allemand's fans have flooded the social media site with messages of mourning.
Among those grieving Wednesday is season 14's winner of "The Bachelor," Vienna Girardi, who took to Twitter following Allemand's death.
"Gia you are my angel," Gurardi posted to Twitter. "You changed so many lives with your beautiful soul and will be missed and loved forever."
