Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Couple Take Met Theme Seriously as they Grace Gala in Robot Costume
Monday's event put a whole lot of celebrities in headlines but Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik reinvented the true meaning of relationship goals as they debuted as a couple at the Met Gala.
According to Billboard, Malik donned a handsome tux that featured armor covering both sleeves of the black tuxedo, while Hadid sported a see-through silver sequin dress with a medieval breastplate to complete the stunning look.
This year's theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," and it appears the pair enjoyed picking out their outfits that would properly fit the night's festivities.

However, Mirror notes that the former One Direction member didn't look as prepared for the big night as Hadid was as the singer looked almost glum instead of ecstatic for the red carpet.
The outlet further points out that Hadid looked as if she was struggling to get her boyfriend do the expected camera poses that the media wanted of the steamy couple. At one point, it the supermodel appeared to try to get her boyfriend's attention as he gazed nowhere.
Several other photos suggest that the "Pillowtalk" singer might have realized the dilemma of putting on foil for fashion's biggest night. On the other hand, he did seem to try his best to finish off the red carpet strut with Hadid.
A week earlier, Hadid celebrated her 21st birthday and it was revealed by Lola James jewelry that she had been wearing a gold chain that spelled "Zayn" during her celebrations. At first look, the gold necklace doesn't seem to be anything special but in an Instagram post, Lola James shared a close-up shot of the said necklace. She also included an image of Hadid with the bling hanging around her neck.
The jewelry designer captioned the picture: "spy birthday girl @gigihadid wearing her "Mine Me" Zayn necklace! #lolajames."
Despite their hectic careers, it is rumored that Hadid is planning to move in with Malik so they can be closer to each other. A source told Sugar Scape, "Currently she [Hadid] wants to come and live in the UK to support him [Malik] - they're both really excited to spend more time together."
