'Gintama: Porori-hen' Episode 4 Spoilers: 'Homeless Arc' to Continue With Surprising Twists and Turns; How Will Ikumatsu Handle the Truth?
The Homeless Arc continues on the next episode of the Japanese action-comedy anime series, "Gintama: Porori-hen." Can Gintoki's crew find Ikumatsu's father before it's too late?
The previous episode brought the Odd Jobs crew back to the Hokuto Shinken, the ramen shop that was being managed by the widow Ikumatsu, for whom Katsura once worked undercover. Following a tale she shared to Zura about an elderly homeless man who used to come and share a bowl of soba with her and her husband, the Odd Jobs crew were hired by Zura to look for the said man.
However, their efforts have not only brought them to the path of the notorious Armed Cardboard Gang (ACG), being led by Ikumatsu's brother-in-law, but has also revealed the fact that the homeless elderly was none other than Ikumatsu's father.
And now the quest is on to locate this man, whom they heard is still alive, while also taking steps to make sure that Ikumatsu is kept safe throughout the whole ordeal with the ACG.
Will the Odd Jobs be able to complete this quest and bring the homeless man back to Hokuto Shinken?
The preview for the next episode, simply titled "Family," tends to hint at this favorable outcome. However, it may be reached only after a series of twists and turns that promises to be so intense, the viewers would stop worrying about who would ever hire Madao
Moreover, the truth about the man who used to come by for a visit on New Year's Eve will finally be revealed. How will Ikumatsu react to this revelation, as well as to the memory of how her father has previously abandoned his family?
Also, and most importantly, will Katsura and Ikumatsu's love story ever reach the significant progress that Gintoki is hoping for?
