'Girls' Season 4 Finale Spoilers: A Birth and A Confrontation

HBO's "Girls" Season 4 is ending another season on March 22, 2015. HBO has renewed the series for another season but no airing date has been set yet.

As the season finale approaches, reports about what will likely happen in the final episode have started coming out. According to Cartermatt, the final episode, which is titled "Home Birth," will most likely feature the upcoming birth of Caroline, Adam's sister.

The dynamics between the series' lead character Hannah and Caroline has always been rocky, with Hannah being Adam's girlfriend, so it will be interesting to see how Hannah, her circle of friends and Adam will handle this big event. The report mentions that Hannah, Jessa and Adam "try to convince Caroline and Laird to forego their planned home birth."

In the relationship front, another one of Hannah's friends, Marnie and Hannah's cousin Shoshanna Shapiro have both had relationships with Ray Ploshansky. This love triangle will once again be explored during the finale.

There will also be a confrontation between Ray Ploshansky, who had a relationship with Marnie, and Marnie's bandmate Desi Harperin, who also had relations with Marnie. The confrontation will supposedly happen after Desi and Marnie's meeting with a record label executive.

The comedy-drama series was first aired on HBO in 2012 and it revolves around the life of an aspiring writer who tries to make it on her own in New York after her parents said that they can no longer support her financially. It was created by Lena Dunham who also stars in the series, and was said to be based on her own life experiences.

According to Dunham, the series reflects a part of the population not portrayed in the 1998 HBO series "Sex and the City." The reference to this other popular HBO series is because the girls in the series were all supposedly influenced by an HBO series that is why they are trying to pursue their dreams in New York.
