'Girls' Season 6 Episode 3 Spoilers: Hannah Converses With a Recognized Author She Formerly Admired

The upcoming episode of "Girls" season 6 will see Hannah (Lena Dunham) chatting with a renowned author at his house, but their conversation turns uneasy when they get to the topic of the former's article about the latter.

The official synopsis of the next episode reveals that Hannah will sit down for a conversation with Chuck Palmer, a celebrated novelist that she once looked up to. However, "disturbing allegations" surrounding the author have significantly changed her view of him.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It features Hannah visiting Palmer's large house. She is surprised that novelists make a lot of money. However, they get to the real reason of why she is there: Palmer has read the article Hannah wrote about him, and he is not happy about it. It is clear that Hannah's subject matter revolved around the accusations thrown at Palmer, but the latter calls them "hearsay." Hannah, though, does not believe that it is merely "hearsay" because there are testimonies from four different women.

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "Hostage Situation."

Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) decided to go on a trip to Poughkeepsie for the weekend, and they dragged an unwilling Hannah along with them. However, it was not all smooth sailing as Marnie found out about Desi's OxyContin addiction. It was revealed that Desi has been abusing the drug for a year. The couple fought over it and Hannah tried to calm Marnie down. After Desi was sent out of the house, Hannah offered Marnie some advice.

Elsewhere, Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) attended a networking event hosted by old college friends of hers. She asked Elijah (Andrew Rannells) to be her plus one, but Jessa (Jemima Kirke) showed up uninvited as well. At the event, Shoshanna realized that Jessa was the reason she lost her chance to be a part of her college friends' successful business venture, which ultimately led to Shoshanna blaming her cousin for ruining her life.

"Girls" season 6 airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
