Glee Star Chord Overstreet Makes Guest Appearance on 'The Middle'
The “Glee” star Chord Overstreet has appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “The Middle.”
The actor and singer guest-starred on ABC’s sitcom’s episode entitled “Hecking Order,” as a fourth grade teacher, Mr. Wilkerson.
Overstreet, 22, participated in an onscreen parent-teacher conference with the show’s main character, Brick, played by Atticus Shaffer.

“The Middle” premiered its third season Wednesday on the most-watched network in America, and also stars Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn.
Overstreet was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was named after the musical word. He plays the mandolin, drums, flute, piano, and guitar.
After appearing on the second season of “Glee,” Overstreet’s success has mounted. Many fans and viewers of the FOX television series requested that Overstreet remain on “Glee,” and the executive producer reportedly offered him a ten-episode deal.
Overstreet declined the offer, stating in an interview with TV Line, “They offered me the chance to come back for a few episodes, but there was nothing guaranteed so I decided to dive into the music thing.”
Overstreet explained he is focusing more on his music career, and appeared on Hot Chelle Rae’s video for “Tonight Tonight” earlier this year. He is currently linked romantically to actress Emma Roberts.
Twitter users took to the social media site to express their critiques of Overstreet, some suggesting he have a permanent role on the “The Middle.”
“I loved how Chord Overstreet was on the middle last night but everyones like omg he should be it all the time,” wrote Twitter user Axl.
Kim wrote, “#Twitition Keep Chord Overstreet as a Regular!”
Other Twitter users commented on the former model’s appearance on the TV show.
“Chord Overstreet proper reminds me of the boy I liked in primary/a bit of secondary [school], aww,” wrote Regina.
