'Glee' Star Sued for Alleged Sexual Battery
"Glee" star Mark Salling has been sued by a former girlfriend who claimed that he committed sexual battery by forcing her to have unprotected sex. Salling has refuted the claim and will continue to work on the Fox series.
Roxanne Gorzela alleged that she and Salling had an intimate relationship and, in March 2011, she consented to have protected intercourse with him, according to papers filed in court. He then proceeded to "insert his penis into [her] vagina without a condom," TMZ reported.
"Although Defendant was aware that Plaintiff did not consent to unprotected sexual intercourse, Defendant violated Plaintiff again by inserting his penis into Plaintiff's vagina without a condom for a second time," the complaint filed by Gorzela said, according to E! News.

Later, Gorzela called Salling to ask whether he had ever been tested for sexually transmitted diseases. When he did not respond, Gorzela physically confronted him, but Salling then pushed her to the ground, causing her to hit her head, a police report filed the same day said.
She has called his behavior "willful, malicious and despicable," causing her to suffer "severe and substantial mental and emotional distress, humiliation, fear, apprehension, anxiety and anguish," the complaint noted.
"There is no truth to this," Salling's representative told E! News. We turn the rest over to Mark's attorneys and have no further comment."
"It's the textbook case of a disgruntled girl looking to cash in on a TV star's success," his publicist additionally told TMZ. Salling has filed a countersuit against Gorzela, regardless of the outcome of her suit. He is suing for defamation of character.
"They went out a couple times over a year ago and it's a classic case of hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. The night this supposedly happened, she first broke down his door to get in. There is a witness who was there who can testify to this. Mark would never and has never abused a woman in any way," a source close to Salling told Yahoo! News.
Salling has starred on "Glee" since its first season, playing bad-boy-turned-chorus man Noah "Puck" Puckerman. He has also released his own music, with his first single, "Higher Power," debuting in 2010.
