Glenn Beck Offers 'Duck Dynasty' Air Time on His Network
Conservative political commentator Glenn Beck took to his radio program recently to urge the "Duck Dynasty" family to take a stand regarding the backlash that they have received over Phil Robertson's opinion on homosexuality. He also offered them a place on his network, should they be released from airing their hit show on A&E.
"If you take a stand and they fire you ... we would like you at The Blaze," said Beck, according to Theblaze.com. "We're not ashamed, we won't fold, we have people of diverse opinion here. We have people who are godly and atheist, liberal and very conservative, there are straight and gay people, there are white and black people. They all have an opinion and they're all welcome at The Blaze. Duck Dynasty, we would be proud to have you."
Robertson, the patriarch of the family, was suspended from filming by the A&E network following his no-holds-barred comments in an interview with GQ magazine. He listed homosexuality as a sin among other things.

"Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers – they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right," Robertson said. "We never, ever judge someone on who's going to heaven, hell. That's the Almighty's job. We just love 'em, give 'em the good news about Jesus – whether they're homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort 'em out later, you see what I'm saying?
He added, "It seems like, to me, a vagina, as a man, would be more desirable than a man's anus. That's just me. I'm just thinking: There's more there! She's got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I'm saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical."
Beck's offer came a day after the network released a statement saying they were "extremely disappointed" in Robertson although they acknowledged that his comments were his personal opinion.
The network also said that his opinions were not reflected in the "Duck Dynasty" series, which follows the Robertsons' lives as they manage and operate a duck call business in Louisiana. However, Beck suggested that the rest of the family should publicly weigh in on Robertson's opinion and make it their own as well.
"Call up GQ and say the whole family wants to do an interview … GQ will invent the teleporter to be able to be there within five minutes … tell them exactly what Phil said and then A&E has to make a decision … all A&E cares about is the cash and this is the biggest cash cow they have ever had," said Beck, alluding to the show's popularity.
He added, "If we don't wake up people that this is fascism, that we are not allowed to have another opinion … they're never going to wake up."
Robertson defended his remarks during a Bible study on Sunday, according to an exclusive Daily Mail interview.
"I will not give or back off from my path … I love all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater," said Robertson
