Good Friday Observance at Ground Zero

Crowds of people participated in a Good Friday observance called ‘The Way of the Cross’ at Ground Zero in New York where the Twin Towers collapsed during an attack on Sept. 11, 2001. Thomas Cashin, retired deputy assistant fire chief of the New York City Fire Department, carries a cross during the procession.
