Rumors once predicted that the GoPro Hero 5 will have 8K resolution. It turned out that GoPro found no need to go to that next level, especially since 4K is a relatively new feature that could still be utilized for a bit more time.

GoPro Hero 5 Black has 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, but could not pair it up with 60 frames per second. The difference between 30 and 60 fps is quite obvious, and for now, GoPro can only do higher than 30 fps for lower resolutions.
Usability
Earlier versions of GoPro aren't as user-friendly as people wanted them to be. The company listened to these grievances and made GoPro Hero 5 Black the most user-friendly among GoPro action cameras so far.
The latest GoPro Hero has voice control functions and touch screen for easy navigation. Voice control is a fun and convenient way of using the action camera. Both the GoPro Hero 5 Black and Session are waterproof by up to 10 meters deep, has timelapse and burst functionalities. One difference between Black and Session is that the latter doesn't have an LCD screen.
