The Gospel Dream 2005 Finale will be airing tonight on the Gospel Music Channel at 8:00 p.m. EST/PST.
The ten finalists including music and youth minister J.E. McKissic of Arlington, Texas, Christy Bradford of the St. Louis auditions, and Michigan-based morning DJ Brian Smith will battle it out on stage for a chance to win a recording contract with Zomba Gospel.
Theres so much talent out there in the church today that doesnt get a chance to be seen by record executives, said Gospel Music Channel President Charley Humbard, so Gospel Dream is a perfect fit for those artists whose only stage is in church which is a very important stage of course, but this is a real way for them to have an opportunity to get a major deal and to get national exposure both on the channel and through the recording contract.
