"He may say that he's king of Gotham but we all know that in Gotham City that's a tenuous place you can be in," the actor said.

Cory Michael Smith meanwhile discusses the aftermath of his character's storyline who drastically changed from the playful GCPD crime lab personnel to the murderous Edward Nygma.

"Having committed a crime and testing if people will get it is a future habit of his [Nygma]," Smith said while adding how excited he is to portray the more conflicted mental state of the future Riddler character.

Also featured in the series of videos are Detective Gordon (Ben McKenzie), his estranged girlfriend, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), and the Wayne people, Bruce (David Mazouz) and Alfred (Sean Pertwee).

Speaking of Jim Gordon, a related spoiler article from Entertainment Weekly indicates the new position that the future GCPD commissioner will be found in Season 2. Citing Morena Baccarin's (who stars as Leslie Thompkins), it was found out that "Jim has been demoted so he's dealing with some stuff."

For her part, Baccarin revealed that Dr. Thompkins is "a little rattled with what happened with the whole Barbara situation. They're trying to stay steady. It's good right now, but it seems like there might be some trouble ahead."

Find out more when "Gotham" Season 2 premieres Sept. 21, 2015 on Fox.
