'Gotham' Season 3 Updates: Mad Hatter's Place Exposed; News About the Cast, Plot, and Release Date
New characters will be coming in the third season 3 of "Gotham", and the Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel) is one of them. Recently released photos reveal how his lair looks like.
Mad Hatter's hideout revealed
The Mad Hatter, who is also known as Jervis Tetch, is a powerful hypnotist. In his quest to know what happened to his missing sister, Alice, he ends up in Gotham looking for her.
Some reports gave a sneak peak of the Mad Hatter's look. And a first glimpse of his lair was featured on a known pop culture website.
The lair seems to be taken straight from the pages of "Alice in Wonderland". It has lots of clocks, so one would always be on time. Other objects such as dolls, dollhouses, bicycles, chess boards, and pianos can also be seen there. Tea kettles and things needed for a tea party are likewise found in the Mad Hatter's hideout.
Aside from being highly skilled in hypnotism, Tetch is also very detached from the real world. This makes him a very dangerous enemy for the Gotham City Police Department.
"Gotham" Season 3 promises to be darker as it brings more villains who will cause more chaos to the city. With the Mad Hatter's inclusion in the show, Gotham is expected to be under more threat. But he will not be alone in wreaking havoc on the city as more characters are expected to come in.
More characters introduced in Saeson 3
In addition to the other villains slated to make their appearance this season, a mature Poison Ivy is also set to enter "Gotham". This is something that will surely keep Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) very busy.
The Mad Hatter, on the other hand, has been known as a Batman villain. This time, he will be on the small screens provoking Batman in his own ways.
"Gotham" Season 3 will also bring in the Court of Owls. They are a powerful group more interested in accomplishing their own purpose. They will play a significant role in the upcoming season and will be responsible for the battle between good and evil in Gotham City.
