'Gotham' Season 3B Spoilers: Bruce and Lucius Have Got Each Other's Back
Lucius (Chris Chalk) has not forgotten his loyalty to the young master of Wayne Enterprises in the upcoming second half of the current season of "Gotham."
Although Lucius has officially left the company and joined the Gotham City Police Department, Chalk told IB Times that the character still cares for Bruce (David Mazouz). It has been previously hinted that season 3B would be rough for the young man. Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) is alive and determined to finish the mission he started before he was killed by Theo (James Frain). He will not rest until he takes down Bruce. With a mad man intent on killing him, Bruce must constanty watch his back to stay alive.
Fortunately, Lucius will be on the lookout for him and he will make sure that Jerome will not come any closer.
"I think what you should expect from Lucius is...because of his failing Thomas Wayne earlier, he will not fail Bruce Wayne," Chalk said, according to IB Times. He adds: "His path has been altered by Wayne enterprises being corrupt. Because of their corruption and him not being able to find the source of that corruption in an efficient manner, he's moved on to the GCPD to try and help Gotham as much as he can while always keeping an eye on Bruce. When Bruce needs him, [Lucius] will be there for Bruce."
Meanwhile, the fans are excited for Nygma's (Cory Michael Smith) big transformation. Recent spoilers reveal that he is more than ready to become the Riddler and take over Penguin's (Robin Lord Taylor) role as top dog in the city. Already, Nygma is seen wearing the Riddler's trademark green suit. He previously succeeded in getting revenge for what happened to his ladylove, Isabella (guest star Chelsea Spack). Nygma shot Penguin and watched his former best friend sink in the frigid water.
Speculations claim, though, that the mayor of Gotham City is not dead. Penguin is said to be returning and he wants Nygma's head on a silver platter.
"Gotham" season 3 will return in April 24, 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
