'Gotham' Season 4 Episode 7 Spoilers: Gordon and Bullock Square Off

Tension is running high between Jim (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) in the upcoming episode of "Gotham."

In the episode titled "A Day in the Narrows," the synopsis reveals that the Gotham City PD will be hot on the trail of Professor Pyg (Michael Cerveris). Jim and Bullock will lead the team to the Narrows to look for clues to the villain's whereabouts. Professor Pyg has started his vendetta, and the citizens fear for their lives. The pressure will get to both Jim and Bullock, resulting to two losing patience on each other. The promo shows the men exchanging harsh words. Jim appears to be cautioning his partner to keep his cool, while the latter just wants to dive head-on in the probe.

Elsewhere, Bruce (David Mazouz) is set to meet an old friend. Grace (guest star Samia Finnerty) is a pretty brunette who seems to be determined to make Bruce fall in love with her. She will reportedly invite him for a night out with some old classmates. The promo shows the two exchanging a kiss. There are hints, though, that Grace may have an ulterior motive for seeking out Bruce. It may have to do with his new vigilante ways. In an interview with Fansided, Mazouz said that his character would continue to be invested in becoming the city's savior. Not everything, however, will always fall according to his plans.

"Bruce is becoming very advanced in his vigilante journey. That will not be true to the entire season; there will be a period of time when he kind of falls off the path that he's on and becomes somebody that the viewers are not too proud of. [There are] some traumatic events, and it really leads to another aspect of Batman that we all know, which is the public facade that Bruce puts on. His playboy face which isn't the true him," Mazouz teased.

"Gotham" season 4 airs Thursdays, at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
