'Grand Theft Auto' 6 Official Release, Updates and News: Bikers DLC for 'GTA 5' Revealed; Development for 'GTA 6' to Finally Start?
"Grand Theft Auto 6" has been reported to be delayed multiple times already; sometimes, even outright cancelled. The main cause of delay pointed out by the authorities is the "Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Bikers DLC", which we now have more knowledge about.
"Grand Theft Auto 5 Bikers DLC"
"Grand Theft Auto 5" has expanded its world online and a new Bikers downloadable content will soon be coming up. The underground crime world will be getting new vehicles and field players, thanks to the expansion.
There have been multiple screenshots of the "Grand Theft Auto 5" expansion already. With this, game publisher Rockstar Games has announced that the Bikers update will then be online come October. These constant and free updates to the "Grand Theft Auto" games set the franchise apart from any other game in the similar genre.
Rockstar Games announced that the Bikers DLC will bring new underground Motorcycle Clubs to the forefront of the Blaine County and Los Santos criminal world. Aside from the new clubs, players of "Grand Theft Auto 5" will also be seeing more new assets in the game. The Western Rat Bike and associated inputs or information are also included in the update.
There would also be new weapons, costumes, cars, and other selections. Motorcycle melees would also bring both offensive and defensive elements, with riders also now able to clash with their bikes. These elements would surely give "Grand Theft Auto 5" a more aggressive and team-oriented gaming experience.
The Future of "Grand Theft Auto 6"
With the "Grand Theft Auto 5 Bikers DLC" already set for release, the Rockstar Games development team could now dedicate more time and resources for the game's sequel. This would mean that progress for "Grand Theft Auto 6" could now be finally expected.
However, "Grand Theft Auto 5" is still seemingly set for more updates in the future, so fans of the franchise clamoring for the next installment should still wait for a while. This would not be so bad though, as Rockstar Games itself said that the company still needs time to adapt to new technologies and innovations such as the 4K PlayStation Pro and the PlayStation VR to fully incorporate to "Grand Theft Auto 6".
Rockstar Games previously stated that the company definitely would not be cancelling the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise and the sixth installment is surely happening. Experts believe that the game would be released either in late 2017 or early 2018.
