'Grand Theft Auto' News: 'Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories' a 'GTA V' DLC?

The latest addition to Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto" titles on mobile is "Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories." The game hit app stores late last week and is now being followed up by rumors of it being a "GTA 5" DLC.

The rumor started when Twitter user TezFunz2 posted the following on his account Wednesday, Dec. 16:

"A new text file added with Executives DLC !

"0xA710E554 = Press ~INPUT_CONTEXT~ to start dancing."
I assume it's related to SP DLC"

According to the text file, the code "to start dancing" is supposedly for a single-player expansion pack that has been added to the Executives DLC, which is a recently released add-on content for "GTA V." The rumored DLC could possibly bring the Liberty City Story expansion into the game, according to GamingBolt.

"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories" is a decade-old title that first released to Sony's PSP handheld device. It was re-launched as a mobile game on Dec. 17. It is currently playable on iOS devices, with Android and Amazon device owners having to wait a bit longer for their version as Rockstar has said these should arrive "soon."

The new mobile game has "shorter, streamlined missions" and will run in 60 FPS. Other features of the new game include rebalanced controls for touch-based play, 3D touch support, native retina screen support, and even a custom playlist for gamers to listen to while they re-explore a fictional New York where the game is set in.

"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories" is available at iTunes for $6.99. Those who will download the game and sign into the Social Club also have a chance to receive a free "I Heart LC" t-shirt.

As for the DLC rumor, watch YouTuber MrBossFTW explain the code and more in the video below. It is important to note that TezFunz2 is not always right, but he has been right on several occasions before. Still as goes with all rumors, it is best to take this information with a grain of salt.
