'Gravity Rush 2' DLC News: Free Raven-Centric DLC Gets Release Date [Details Here]
Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan has announced new details about the free "Gravity Rush 2" downloadable content (DLC) it promised last December.
Set for release March 21, the DLC is called "Another Story: The Ark of Time – Raven's Choice." As the company said before, it will focus on Kat's former rival, Raven.
This "Gravity Rush 2" DLC will delve into the past and present of the mysterious and powerful girl and is set after the events of the first game.

"Another Story: The Ark of Time – Raven's Choice" features the rivalry of a character referred to as Lumino the Guardian of Light and another by the name Tenebria the Guardian of Darkness.
Both "Gravity Rush 2" DLC characters were designed by Tatsuya Yoshikawa. Apart from these rivals, the free DLC will also feature the Space-Time Guardians called Garbage Collectors.
Speaking about "Another Story: The Ark of Time – Raven's Choice" during an interview with Siliconera last month, game director Keiichiro Toyama said that the DLC was supposed to be part of the main game.
"There were plans to throw it into the main game, but since it's a part that requires playing the previous game to understand, we've decided to offer it as additional content. Playing leisurely will get you about five hours of gameplay," he explained.
Apart from Raven's story, the "Gravity Rush 2" DLC will also include new challenges wherein the max level for the Delvool Trench Mine will be up from 30 to 50. Thanks to the update, there will also be rarer Talismans up for grabs there.
As for what's next in the game, Toyama admitted in the same Siliconera interview that it is currently a "blank sheet."
"Since there's a sense that we've already used up everything we've had, if we do something next [for the series] then I want it to be something new. For example, if there's new hardware that allows for a new way of expression, then perhaps it'll make us want to make something," he explained.
