'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Cast Finds Success Outside of Show
Though "Grey's Anatomy" has wrapped season 9, and season 10 is just around the corner, stars of the show are keeping busy and finding success outside of the hit ABC show.
"Grey's Anatomy" star Sarah Drew, who plays Dr. April Kepner on the show, is set to appear in the upcoming movie "Mom's Night Out," according to WetPaint.com And she is certainly enjoying her time on the "Mom's Night Out" set. The actress tweets from the set regularly to keep fans abreast of what she's up to.
"Having a blast shooting with the wonderfully brilliant @SeanAstin!" she tweeted about her co-star Sean Astin, known for his work in "The Lord of The Rings."
A few days later she appeared to still be quite happy with "Mom's Night Out."
"Wrapping out my most fav day on this movie so far! Love my job!!" Drew tweeted.
Drew isn't the only "Grey's Anatomy" actress working on a big screen production during the hit drama's summer hiatus. Camilla Luddington, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson, will be starring in the upcoming horror movie, "The Pact II." The horror sequel is expected to be released in 2014, according to IMBD.com.
And it is not just the female starts of Grey's Anatomy finding success, Kevin McKidd, who plays Owen Hunt on the show, will be seen in the upcoming dramatic comedy movie "North of Hell." Directed by Anthony Burns, the film is also set to be released in 2014.
Is acting on "Grey's Anatomy" some sort of good luck charm that leads to career success? Loretta Devine might think so. Though the actress hasn't been on the show since season eight, she got a bit of good career news recently. Devine will be continuing her television acting with a role on the USA Network's comedy "Psych" this upcoming season, The Hollywood Reporter said.
