'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Casting News and Spoilers: Cristina Yang 'Getting Out?'

"Grey's Anatomy" fans are well aware that veteran actress Sandra Oh is leaving the medical drama after this season, but tonight's episode could see more details on her send-off.

The starlet has been a part of the "Grey's" cast portraying Sandra Oh since its very first season in 2005. However, Oh decided that 2014 would be her last in the role as Cristina, leaving the legions of "Grey's" fans in a state of wonder about when the departure will take place. Adding to fans' anticipating, ABC recently announced the season finale of the hit drama television series, furthering interest in how Oh's character will go out. The season 10 finale will air on Thursday, May 15.

Regardless of when Oh exits, "Grey's" creator Shonda Rhimes has guaranteed fans that the actress will get "the exit she deserves." Also, while Oh is leaving, main cast members Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey recently signed new two-year deals to stay on show.

Meanwhile, this week's installment is entitled "We Gotta Get Out of This Place," causing widespread speculation that Oh's exit is drawing near. The synopsis for the episode on TV Guide is as follows: "Meredith gets an assistant to help with her vein project. Meanwhile, Richard received a special birthday gift from Bailey when she allows him to scrub in on an extraordinary case; Callie surprises Derek; and a young pregnant mom seeks help from Shane." The episode will see Keke Palmer and Debbie Allen guest star.

Furthermore, spoilers revealed that the episode will focus on Dr. Richard Webber, and not in a positive way. James Pickens Jr., the actor who portrays Richard, spoke to TV Guide about his character tonight's show.

"He thinks he's being forced into retirement," Pickens Jr. said.

However, Pickens feels that he still has many viable skills to offer the hospital and is resisting retirement based on his love for helping people.

"Any time a man is faced with a change like that in their life, there's always going to be some resistance to change," the actor said. "Richard is no different than anyone else. He's not happy with it. He still has something to offer."
