'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Spoilers: 'Cristina Headed Toward Something Big'
ABC's hit show "Grey's Anatomy" is bound to undergo some changes that will rock fans as Sandra Oh, who plays Cristina, will be leaving the show. Most recently, it seems Cristina and Owen, played by Kevin McKidd, have ended their romantic relationship. For spoilers from McKidd on how the characters will fare post-break up, read on.
With such a strong past, many fans wonder if Owen and Cristina can really stay completely broken up.
"It's going to be interesting this season to see how they navigate that. Cristina's being supportive of him meeting someone else. In theory, it sounds great ... it's going to be a very interesting moment when she realizes maybe he's taken her advice at last," McKidd said to TV Guide.

Now that the romantic element of their relationship is over, many wonder how Cristina and Owen's professional relationship and friendship will progress.
"Their working relationship should hopefully continue. They'll always disagree. When they were together, they would disagree on medical stuff. It's an interesting time because the dynamic of their relationship is really drifting. It's not the same. Cristina is really headed toward something big medically. I think that her being away from her relationship with Owen will free her up to be more innovative. I would like to think Owen would support her in that," the actor said.
Though the end of the relationship is difficult, McKidd sees some hope for Owen after this break up.
"He's always been Cristina's person, and it gives him a chance to develop other relationships," McKidd said.
