'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 Plot News: A New Handsome Joins Grey Sloan Hospital

A new character is expected to join the rest of the crew for the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12.

It was revealed that a new doctor named Nathan will be joining the Grey Sloan Hospital. The character is played by Martin Henderson. Unfortunately, it was teased that he will not be receiving a warm welcome from the staff.

A teaser for the episode titled "Something Against You" showed Nathan taking a break outside after dealing with an orphaned boy who needed surgery. While he was outside, Owen, played by Kevin McKidd, approached Nathan to ask him what he was doing in Grey Sloan.

It seemed like McKidd's character knew Nathan in the past. Owen then told Nathan to leave Grey Sloan after he is done performing surgery on the orphaned boy. However, it can be expected that Nathan will be staying for more than one surgery. McKidd previously spoke with TV Line about someone who will come from his character's past.

As for the rest of the doctors, it was revealed that they will also be dealing with their own drama. The synopsis revealed that Bailey, played by Chandra Wilson, will be trying to get Ben, played by Jason George, to get rid of their roommate. Jesse Williams' character, Jackson, recently moved into their house after breaking up with April.

Fans can expect that the rest of the season will continue to play out the drama and build the tension between the different characters. Another character that will be bringing tension to the season is Penny, played by Samantha Sloyan. The previous episode showed her first day as a resident at the Grey Sloan Hospital. Her presence in the hospital will serve as a challenge since she is the one who pronounced Derek's (Patrick Demsey) death in the previous season.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 airs on ABC every Thursday.
