'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14 News, Spoilers: Series Casts Six New Interns
Six new interns have started their stint at Grey Sloan and it looks like they're set to stay, at least for a couple of episodes. The new faces recently made their debut in the "Grey's Anatomy" season 14 episode 4 "Ain't That a Kick in the Head?" last Thursday.
Oct. 12's episode saw Nathan (Martin Henderson) take Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) suggestion that he make a "grand gesture" to prove his love to Megan (Abigail Spencer) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) inherit a quarter of a billion dollars from his grandfather. However, the main story of the episode was the surgery that removed from Amelia's (Caterina Scorsone) head the brain tumor that had been causing so much of her erratic behavior.
While the crew of Grey Sloan was up to their usual business, a slew of potential interns, among them Glasses Levi (Jake Borelli), Vika (Rushi Kota), Casey (Alex Blue Davis), Sam (Jeanine Mason), and Dahlia (Sophia Taylor Al), all of whom are looking to join the hospital.

A number of them will likely stay on for more than a few episodes if fans seem to like them. Considering how the show goes through its cast members, introducing new characters should always be expected.
And speaking of going through characters, despite popular demand it appears that fan-favorite Dr. Christina Yang (Sandra Oh) won't be making a comeback anytime soon. She was last seen back in season 11 and while she hasn't kicked the bucket yet, she won't be making her way back to the show according to executive producer Krista Vernoff although she admitted that she would "give anything" for it.
"I would give anything for a visit from Sandra Oh," she confessed. "[The 300th episode] would be a fine occasion for a visit, but it's not happening."
Grey's Anatomy" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
