'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: Nick and Adalind to Open Doors for a Romantic Relationship?
The winter finale of "Grimm" season 5 sent sparks all around viewers as a shadow from the past seems to have returned from the dead. However, it's not the person that Nick (David Giuntoli) once knew.
The thrill doesn't stop when Nick whispered "Juliette" in shock. Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) is Nick's former flame, and while the person Nick saw looks exactly like her, it's not her at all. She goes by the name Eve and turns out to be a weapon that Hadrian's Wall will use to take down its foes.
Tulloch is back as a regular, and while it is unknown how her new persona will affect Nick in all the unexpected ways that fans are probably now wondering about, Eve's coming is definitely a threat to the "Nadalind" couple.
According to TV Line, everything will soon be explained, and fans won't be waiting for a long time to find out what happened to Juliette and how exactly did she become a whole new person with a new perspective.
Co-creator James Kouf also tells the outlet that while Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee) will have their own lives even without the threat of Eve up close, "there's a lot of other complicated things that are going on that will determine how that relationship works out."
Nick and Adalind are former archenemies but now they have a child and it is only reasonable that they work things out for the sake of the innocent child who has to live a life free of worries.
Rumor has it that Kouf's statements about Eve not being involved in Nick and Adalind's life with their baby only means the two will finally open their hearts to a romantic relationship, aside from being the baby's parents.
Also, recent promo images tease that a romance between the two is highly possible. One image shows Nick and Adalind seemingly up for a kiss. If the two end up being lovers, there is a possibility that a love triangle will brew somewhere in the upcoming episodes. This will happen if Eve suddenly takes the memories of Juliette with her to another level and use it against Nick.
"Grimm" season 5 resumes on Jan. 22 on NBC.
