'Grimm' Season 5B News: Nick Kissing Adalind in New Promo Photos; Fans Can Expect Action-Packed Second Half

Things are about to get even more exciting and intense as the second part of "Grimm's" Season 5 is now getting closer to its premiere.

A report from TVLine shared the recently released photos from the upcoming episodes of the hit NBC supernatural drama series. Worth noting is the image showing Nick Burkhardt and Adalind Schade. The Grimm and the former Hexenbiest, who happens to be the mother of Nick's child, are shown in what appears to be a kissing situation. Given their present living arrangements, can one deduce that there's love brewing between the former enemies?

For those who missed it, Adalind impersonated Nick's love of his life, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), and ended up pregnant.

Series co-creators James Kouf and David Greenwalt previously told the media outlet, in a separate report, that fans should expect the Nick-Adalind romance blossom further because they have a kid.

Nonetheless it's not going to be easy for the two.

"…there's a lot of other complicated things that are going on that will determine how that relationship works out," Kouf said to TVLine.

Elsewhere in the photo gallery, Trubel appears to be in a heated confrontation with Meisner. The former's arrival once again delivered the excitement amongst fans who have been waiting for the character to come back.

Kouf added some ideas on what to expect when the show returns. According to him, there would be "a lot of complicated things…that intertwine before direct confrontation."

Talking about the enemy, the Greenwalt spoke about Lucien Petrovich, the Wesen who will be the catalyst of the uprising.

The executive producer duly described Petrovich as a "pure believer," who has a "streak of deviousness in him and he can't really be trusted," not even by his own people. Fans should expect the character to be around for a bit as the Wesen conflict continues.

"Grimm" Season 5B premieres Friday, Jan. 29, on NBC.
