GTA 5 Online Heists DLC Update Release Date: Cheats, Money Still Not Coming Despite 306 Day Wait
Gamers and fans of the widely popular and critically-acclaimed "Grand Theft Auto 5" Online are still waiting for the release of the latest Heists DLC.
A fan-made website called AreTheHeistsThereYet.com has even taken upon itself to take note of how many days it has been since the release of "GTA Online" with Heists DLC still not ready.
As of today, it has been 306 days since Rockstar released the online platform of GTA 5.
The upcoming Heists DLC promises players the use of additional planes in vehicles as well as new do-able heist missions. One of the rising issues among GTA fans is the release of the game for Macintosh computers.
Only recently, Rockstar announced that GTA 5 was going to be ported to the next-gen consoles and to the PC as well. This sounds all well and good for PC, PS4, and Xbox One fans but Macintosh users are still unlikely to get a port. Some Apple fans have complained that this move doesn't seem fair for Mac users, but developers really only go to where the bigger market is, and currently it's the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PCs.
To alleviate the tension among excited fans, Rockstar previously released the Independence Day-themed DLC package update for the July 4 celebrations. The update included American themed clothing and military vehicles.
The Heists DLC is highly anticipated as it contains a number of missions that players online can partake in. The missions include Prison Van Rescue, Drop Off Hooker, Funeral, Territory Takeover, Flight Gangmate, Cop Territory, Ornate Bank Heist, and FIB Grab.
One of the missions, Territory Takeover, has a similarity to "GTA: San Andreas'" Gang Warfare, where the player takes over the territory of rival gangs by taking on resident gang members and fighting off waves of defending enemies.
It is still uncertain when Rockstar plans to release the DLC.
