'GTA 6' to Feature New Female Protagonist, Arriving in 2020?

Due to the success of "Grand Theft Auto 5" many fans are looking forward to the release of "GTA 6." However, recent reports suggest that the next installment in the franchise will not arrive until 2020.

Since "GTA 5" was launched several years ago, it has been considered as one of the most successful games ever released. Until now, the game is still a favorite of hard-core gamers because of the unparalleled gaming experience that it offers. Thanks to the virtual adrenaline rush and excitement that "GTA 5" offers to players, the game has sold more than 75 million copies since it was first released in 2013.

Now that it has already been four years since its predecessor was released, gamers are looking forward to "GTA 6," which is rumored to launch along with the next-generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony.

According to reports, the new game will not arrive soon since it is still being prepared for a 2020 launch alongside the upcoming Xbox Two and PlayStation 5. Also, Rockstar Games is said to be busy developing other game franchises like "Red Dead Redemption 2," which is expected to arrive this fall.

Rumors are also swirling around that "GTA 6" will feature a new female protagonist. This rumor is nothing new to fans, as it was also previously speculated that popular actress Eva Mendes had been tapped to breathe life into the "GTA 6's" female protagonist.

As for its setting, there are theories that the game sequel will finally leave the roads of the United States and move to London. Despite that, some reports say that considering how big the "GTA 6" game is, it will still employ the U.S. map.

Currently, the "GTA 5" is playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Rockstar Games has yet to announce the official release date for "GTA 6," so fans should take the abovementioned rumors with a grain of salt.
