GTA V Online to Receive New Music, iFruit App Now Available for PS Vita
GTA V Online players will now have access to new music in the game.
A new selection of tracks will be available from artists such as the Tangerine Dream and Alchemist as part of an incoming update. Rockstar revealed that it would be unleashing these new songs for players in a musically charged post that featured pictures of rapper Tyler the Creator and rocker Woody Jackson.
"As part of the ongoing content updates and evolution of the Grand Theft Auto Online experience, we're also adding to the already massive original musical score that is heard exclusively Online. Modes such as Survival, Deathmatch as well as your own custom-made Creator Jobs will all be complemented with an updated range of never-before-heard unreleased instrumental music from the original scoring sessions by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, Alchemist and Oh No," wrote Rockstar.
PS Vita owners playing GTA V can download the new iFruit companion app for the game which was released this week. It is available on Sony's site where users can download it for free.
The app allows players to gain updates, customize their cars, and train in-game character Chop the dog in a Tamagotchi-esque minigame. It is also available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
In other news, GTA V Online players will once again be able to play through Rooftop Rumble, which was one of the more popular missions in the game.
Rockstar North took the mission down to fix an issue with it. The company confirmed that the mission is now available online again in a recent post.
"Rooftop Rumble is now available to play again in GTA Online," wrote the company in a Q&A post. "The mission may not be available from your pause menu. If that is the case, please follow these steps."
The steps listed by the company included joining GTA Online, calling Martin to request a job, joining quick mission if Rooftop Rumble is not an option, and repeating the last two steps until the player enters into the Rooftop Rumble Lobby.
