'Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2' News: Vin Diesel Talks Script on Facebook
Fans should stop being so hard on Bradley Cooper after he gave a confusing reply about the villain of "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" since it has been confirmed that he actually did not reveal anything at all.
Cooper's confused statements about the villain in a recent interview with MTV International made fans speculate that the actor just spoiled one of the major mysteries that is supposed to be revealed when the movie releases. Director James Gunn immediately came to the rescue and cleared everything on Twitter, saying Cooper didn't spoil anything since he has just received the script and had zero knowledge about the villain at the time of the interview.
While Gunn has already confirmed that there was no slip, many fans still believe that Star-Lord's parentage has been revealed. Cooper has remained mum about the said slip and several outlets suggest he made the right move since another comment from him might further confuse fans.
Meanwhile, Vin Diesel, who plays Groot in the movie, shared his insights about the script, which he also just received recently. The "Fast and Furious" star is known for his avid use of Facebook to share his activities with fans.
In a video, he commended Gunn's writing, calling the script a "page-turner." He said that after reading the script, which still has 20 pages left for him to read at the time, he couldn't stop reading it and even said, "No wonder Marvel can't wait to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2.'"
Diesel's previous interviews revealed some details, including what he wants for his Groot. He mentioned earlier that he would love to see a "gigantic" Groot for a change, and while it wasn't confirmed by Gunn, the idea of seeing a huge Groot may be a good thing for the wooden hero's fans.
The live video posted on Sunday also gave fans some hints about the upcoming movie. He mentioned that dancing was indeed a huge factor that made the previous movie a success and fans shouldn't worry since the sequel won't be short of dancing and music.
"Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" hits big screens on May 5, 2017.
