'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2': Why the Double Feature and Regal Ultimate Ticket Are Great Deals
Marvel Cinematic Universe's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is literally just less than two months away, and it is shaping up to be a spectacle to behold. For diehard fans of the franchise, these two deals are definitely blessings from heaven.
On director James Gunn's Facebook account, he posted details of a double feature, which allows moviegoers to watch both the first film and the sequel on May 4 in selected theaters. As an added bonus, guests will be able to receive an exclusive movie poster as well as a souvenir collectible button set.
While that is a sweet deal, another potentially more drool-worthy promotion is brewing over at Regal Theaters. For $100, a fan could get a Regal Ultimate Ticket, allowing viewing of the film once for every single day it is airing at Regal Theaters for any format, including RPX and IMAX. Aside from the repetitive watching, the ticket features the film's "Awesome Mix Vol. 2" with the cardholders name permanently inscribed, making it a collector's item.
Apart from the freebies and the privileges the promotions bring, there couldn't be a better time to avail of such wonderful deals. Gunn has promised that the sequel is going to be a bigger film than its predecessor for a variety of reasons.
During the Writer's Guild Festival, he says that the film puts audiences faster and smoother into the plot. "On the second movie I had a lot more freedom because the first movie did well and it was great not having to explain the five major characters to the audience in the first half hour. We just go straight into the story."
For any fan, this is proving to be a wonderful proposition and a movie to look forward to. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" arrives in cinemas on May 5, 2017.
