'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Spoilers: Post-credits Scene Confirmed; New Teaser Shows Hilarious Nebula-Gamora Moment

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" director James Gunn advised fans to stay on their seats in the cinemas even after the credits roll.

Gunn hinted on Twitter that he has a little surprise for fans when asked whether there will be mid- and post-credits scenes in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

"All I'll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits," the director tweeted.

It won't be a surprise if "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will have mid- and post-credits scenes as the first film had both.

The mid-credits clip showed a cute little Groot sampling dancing sneakily without Drax (Dave Bautista) noticing. The post-credits scene featured Howard the Duck, who was played by Seth Green.

Fans could only hope that another famous comic book character will pop up in the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" post-credits scene if not Howard the Duck himself.

However, Gunn has made clear last year that Green is not reprising his role in the sequel. He made sure that no rumors about that will arise after the actor visited him on set during the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" filming.

"Yes, Seth was Howard the Duck in the first movie, but, no, he wasn't on set to shoot a scene — we've just been good friends for almost 15 years," Gunn noted.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will be out next month. Marvel Studios is ramping up the promotion by releasing another hilarious teaser with some new footage.

In the short clip, Nebula (Karen Gillan) talked about being a "garden of the galaxy" only to be corrected by her sister Gamora (Zoe Saldana) with Drax making this moment funnier with his reaction. Watch the teaser below.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" hits the cinemas May 5.
