Gucci Mane Wanted: 'Spring Breakers' Star Allegedly Assaults Soldier (VIDEO)
Gucci Mane is wanted for assault by the Atlanta Police Department, according to reports, after a soldier claimed that he was attacked by the rapper at a club last week.
The police have an arrest warrant out for Gucci Mane following the soldier's claims, according to Atlanta's Channel 2.
The soldier has reported to them that he was approached by Mane in the VIP section of the Harlem Nights club on the night of March 15.
The solider has said that he only asked a security guard if he could take a photo with the rap star.
However, he then claims that Mane suddenly attacked him by hitting him over the head with a champagne bottle.
The soldier has only been reported as "James" in reports. He has said, "And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face," according to Channel 2.
The soldier was then rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he needed 10 stitches for a gash on his head.
James has reported that he was out with friends celebrating his birthday party at the time of the assault, and that he has no idea why the rapper assaulted him.
He has reported the incident to police, and a warrant has now been put out for the arrest of the rapper for aggravated assault.
In the past Gucci Mane has been arrested for battery, probation violation and reckless driving among other things, and has previously served a six month jail sentence in 2011. He recently starred in new film "Spring Breakers."
