'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild': Guide to Finding the Lon Lon Ranch Location
Players of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" have reportedly found the location of the Lon Lon Ranch, a popular destination from the "Ocarina of Time" game.
According to Game Informer, there are marked similarities between the famous ranch and a burnt-out ruin in "Breath of the Wild." The report posits that the ruins, which may be found at the exact same place where the Lon Lon Ranch was located in the older RPG game, is found southeast from Hyrule Castle. It is important to note that the name of the ranch will not materialize in the map, though.
Based on the report, the entrances to both the ranch ruins and Ocarina of Time's Lon Lon Ranch look exactly the same as well as the brick structures. It is said to be standing in the same location, only the "Breath of the Wild" version is a dilapidated, burnt shadow of the once thriving place. This suggests that "Breath of the Wild" is set in the same world as "Ocarina of Time," only many years later.

iDigital Times says the ranch ruins is the same place where players first found and rode Epona. It is said to be located near the Hyrule Field Tower. Players must approach this with care, as a fierce Guardian is waiting to attack. Once they have defeated the threat, players may still explore the ruins and see what it has to offer. Although the layout is said to be a carbon copy of the Lon Lon Ranch, there is not much to see. Malon's stables are gone.
The Lon Lon Ranch is not the only location in "Breath of the Wild" that has a clear reference to past "The Legend of Zelda" games. One of Skyward Swords' most memorable landmarks, the Goddess Statue, may be found in Hyrule. It is reportedly the shrine that may be found east of Tabantha Thundra, at the north end of a valley.
