'Gundam Versus' DLC Release Date: Alvaaron and Buster Coming This Month

The infamous Alvaaron and Buster mobile suits are coming to "Gundam Versus" this month as downloadable content (DLC).

The Alvaaron, which was a prominent figure in "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," is piloted by Alejandro Corner. It will be featured in the game as part of a boss fight, but players will get the chance to use it as well.

This "Gundam Versus" DLC mobile suit will come with a GN Beam Rifle and GN Beam Saber for weapons and the GN Field for protection. It can also be transformed into its docked form called Alvatore.

The description from the official website of the game reads, per Google translation:

A golden aircraft carrying a quasi-sun furnace. It is the control center of the MA "Alvatore" and functions as an independent MS after separation. Since 1 Gundam is designed as a design base, arming is simple, but its potential ability is comparable to Gundam Exia.

Also joining the fray via the "Gundam Versus" DLC is Buster straight from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED." The man on the controls is none other than Dearka Elthman.

Buster has quite the arsenal. For starters, it houses an ultra high impulse long range sniper rifle for its main shooter and a high-energy convergent fire rifle, a 350mm gun launcher and a 220mm 6-barrel missile pod as secondary weapons. Its melee command will involve this mobile suit to switch among these.

The official description for the Buster in "Gundam Versus" reads:

Among the five GAT-X series developed by the Earth Allied Force, the aircraft specialized in long-range shooting warfare. The two large-scale firearms (live ammunition/ beam system) of the backpack alone are superior weapons, but by connecting them, the fire power and range are greatly enhanced.

These mobile suits will be available in "Gundam Versus" as DLC on Oct. 17 for 602 Yen each.
