Just when everyone thought that one of the most recent amicable splits happened, which was between Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, the news of Rossdale's affair with the nanny hit the stands. The 13-year-old rocker couple definitely shocked the world when they split back in August after a speedy divorce process. Despite the two choosing to remain civil and quiet about the whole ordeal, it didn't take long for the news about Rossdale's 3-year-affair with nanny of their three boys, Mindy Mann.
According to E! News, Stefani apparently stumbled upon the affair when she was alerted by one of the other nannies of dirty messages being exchanged between Rossdale and Mann on a family iPad. Before Stefani had firm proof about her suspicions, which started after photos of Rossdale with a hand on Mann's backside during a hike with their boys surfaced.
The affair was only confirmed Feb. 9, a day after Stefani went to the Grammy's by herself. As to how it happened, a source shares, "One of the other nannies went to get the iPad for one of the boys and found texts and photos that Mindy had sent to Gavin." The source further added, "Gavin's texts were linked to the iPad and could be seen. They talked about meeting up to have sex and she sent naked photos."

This discovery apparently led to a series of confrontations first with Stefani and Mann, in which Mann has confessed to the affair immediately, while Rossdale insisted that everything was nothing but flirtation. The source said, "The nanny told Gwen everything. She immediately confronted Gavin and he tried to deny everything once again. He had a story that he was just flirting but this time Gwen and seen it with her own eyes and didn't believe it." According to sources, the news was the last straw for the two. "She couldn't get past it and was devastated this was going on right under her nose. She asked Gavin to leave and knew the marriage was over."
