Gwen Stefani Pregnancy Rumors: Singer Undergoes IVF Treatments To Have A Child With Blake Shelton
It seems like Gwen Stefani is serious about starting a family with her boyfriend Blake Shelton if rumors turn out to be true.
According to a new report from Life & Style Magazine, the 48-year-old singer and fashion designer is desperately trying to get pregnant to have a baby girl with the country music superstar. The report claimed that they already thought that she was already bearing a child, but they were devastated when they found out that it was just a false alarm.
To make sure that they will succeed in their conception efforts, the couple reportedly resorted to in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments so they can finally start a family. Since Stefani is already a mom to three boys Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3 with ex-husband and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, it can be assumed that she and Shelton are trying to conceive twin girls through IVF.
Another report from InTouch Weekly revealed that the couple is already in their final stages of their IVF treatments, but the "Make Me Love You" singer understands that their chances of successful conception could be slim.
"She recognizes this and believes that God has a bigger plan for her, and that includes getting pregnant," the source said in a statement that was posted by the publication. "Gwen has been relying on her faith more than ever."
Stefani and Shelton started dating in November 2015 after their marriages with their respective spouses both ended. The former No Doubt vocalist and the father of her children filed their divorce in August of the same year, while Shelton and his former wife Miranda Lambert ended their four-year marriage in July 2015.
The couple appeared to have developed their relationship with working on the set of NBC's "The Voice" season 7 where they both served as coaches.
At the moment, Stefani is busy promoting her upcoming Christmas album "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" while Shelton returned on "The Voice" season 13 with Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson.
