Gwen Stefani Takes Kids Apollo and Zuma to Church, Releases Christmas Album with Blake Shelton
It's no secret that Gwen Stefani takes her children to church regularly and this Sunday, Oct. 8, the Grammy-winning singer and mom was once again seen with her boys. Stefani took her sons 9-year-old Zuma and 3-year-old Apollo at a Los Angeles church as part of their Sunday routine.
Stefani wore a stylish but loose shirt with a colorful pattern over black baggy pants with white pinstripes for this Sunday's service. Her sons, on the other hand, wore equally stylish clothes but her youngest looked trendier for a 3-year-old with his matching light blue shorts and blazer ensemble.
Her other son, 10-year-old Kingston, was not with the family that Sunday. Nevertheless, their weekend religious obligation went uninterrupted.
Born and raised as a Catholic, Stefani professed that she doesn't publicly talk about her spiritual beliefs because people might feel weird or offended by it especially in her line of work. But the No Doubt vocalist has strong faith in God and His miracles and she said she feels this through her music.
Meanwhile, Stefani recently released her Christmas album "You Make It Feel Like Christmas." The selections have the singer covering traditional songs like "Santa Baby," "Silent Night" and "Jingle Bells." The album also has a cover of George Michael's "Last Christmas" with a different arrangement.
Stefani's boyfriend of more than two years, Blake Shelton, might have inspired her to compose new Christmas songs like "Never Kissed Anyone with Blue Eyes Before You" and "My Gift Is You." Shelton, after all, helped put together Stefani's first holiday album, according to Billboard.
The album release comes just days after Stefani turned 48. Her beau greeted her publicly on Twitter, exclaiming that he hopes she'll never break his heart. Fans of the couple speculate that wedding bells might soon come for Stefani and Shelton, who first started dating in November 2015, after getting along so well on "The Voice" as coaches.
