'Halo 5' Game News: Game's 'Warzone Firefight' Free Upgrade Out By Summer?
While there is no denying that "Halo 5: Guardians" raked in a lot of cash for Microsoft last year, the game is marred by some loopholes that gamers wish to be addressed by Microsoft itself. True enough, the company promised to plug the holes by promising new maps, interface improvements, and many other fixes that would make it a better gaming experience. Among the many free upgrades that Microsoft promised, there is no denying that "Warzone Firefight" is the most anticipated. The good news is that it may just be a matter of time for fans of the game to get hold of the upgrade as it is widely believed that it is coming this summer.
When "Halo 5: Warzone Firefight" was announced last year, it got "Halo" fans excited as it is expected to give them a new and modern game mode that Microsoft and 343 Industries failed to introduced in the past "Halo" games. As its name suggests, it is a continuation of a "Halo 5" mode, "Warzone" and fused with "Halo 3's" "Firefight" mode.
It can be recalled that, in "Halo 3: Firefight," players need to team up in order to beat the computer-generated enemies. In the case of "Halo 5: Warzone Firefight," though, apart from supporting eight different players, the upgrade also offers new tricks that will make the game even more engaging. For one thing, "Halo 5: Warzone Firefight" will feature new enemies called Mythic. Microsoft and 343 industries also promised that the upgrade will feature the most number of enemies ever in the history of "Halo" games.
Since "Halo 5: Warzone Firefight" will support REQ Cards and REQ Packs, which offer all kinds of useful and awe-generating weapons and vehicles that players can use against the Covenant and Forerunner forces, it goes without saying that "Halo 5" gaming experience will even be more riveting.
However, while the upgrade is free, those who are yet to make a purchase of "Halo 5: Guardians" cannot enjoy "Halo 5: Warzone Firefight." Copies of the game carry a $59.99 price tag whether on physical or online stores.
