'Halo 5' Multiplayer DLC: Infinity's Armory Coming Next Week
"Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer DLC is about to receive the Infinity's Armory update next week, which will bring a new set of armor and maps that players can use to defeat their enemies.
The Infinity's Armory update, which will be available next week, will add two new maps for "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer mode. The free downloadable content will also add three new sets of armor, one Legendary weapon, new REQs, quirky skins, and other cosmetic alterations, according to Maxim.
A launch trailer for Infinity's Armory reveals that players will be able to get the Mark V Alpha Armmor, the Riptide Arena Map, and the "Halo 2" Battle Rifle when the update arrives. It also teases a wide range of weapon and armor skins that players can use to customize their look, iDigital Times reports.

While the Achilles armor set and the Atlas armor set were not seen in the launch trailer, game developer 343 Industries has confirmed that the two sets will be included in the update. Plus, it will come with a Warzone Urban Assault map, the report relays.
Aside from that, the Infinity's Armory update will give "Halo 5: Guardians" players new Assassination moves. The deadly moves include breaking necks and knife attacks before throwing the bodies around, the report details.
As of now, the exact release date for Inifinity's Armory is still unknown, but it has been reported to arrive in January. A post on Halo Waypoint's official website reveals that the final testing for the update was conducted on Jan. 15, so the content should be available soon.
Meanwhile, 343 Industries will host a "Halo 5" live-stream event on Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. at Twtch.tv/Halo. During the event, the developer will release details on the new content.
Once the Infinity's Armory update is released next week, the new content will automatically be downloaded to the account of "Halo 5: Guardians" players.
